At LUX* South Ari Atoll, simplicity meets elegance. A charming seaside paradise is created by thatched roof beach bungalows and villas located above the warm Maldivian waves. On the sandy shoreline, chaises-longues encourage guests to relax among the palms, while staircases lead straight into the Indian Ocean.
South LUX* Ari Atoll is one of the Maldives’ largest islands, so it’s ideal if you want a larger resort with more amenities in a gorgeous private island location. As a LUX* resort, service and amenities are of the finest quality, and the atmosphere is relaxing and playful, with a few amusing surprises thrown in for good measure. With eight restaurants to choose from, guests are spoiled for choice. Senses, which serves boat-fresh seafood by the pool, and East Market, which serves hot Southeast Asian flavours in a street food-style setting, are two favourites.

Accommodation and Room categories.

They have eight different room classifications, so whether you’re travelling solo or with a group of kids in tow, or if you prefer a water villa to a beach villa, you’ll find the right fit.

Beach Pavilion:

Beach Pavilions provide a double or twin bed, a magnificent bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower, as well as a refreshing outdoor shower, an outdoor terrace, satellite TV, DVD player, air conditioning, safe, minibar, private loungers, WiFi, and direct beach access.

Beach Villa:
The Beach Villas are furnished in light sand and ochre tones, with spectacular sea views and direct beach access. An en suite outdoor bathroom with an enormous bathtub and separate shower is included in every Beach Villa.

Beach pool Villa:
A private garden and an outside wooden deck with a sunken swimming pool and sun loungers are included in the Beach Pool Villas.

Water Villas:
Water Villas are perfect for individuals who want a little more seclusion. Each house has a terrace with furniture and direct access to the lagoon.

The Romantic Pool Water Villas:
The Romantic Pool Water Villas are situated over the crystal blue waters, The magnificent villas have their own own plunge pool and direct lagoon access, as well as a contemporary bedroom and bathroom with separate double rain showers.

The Temptation Pool Water Villas:
The Temptation Pool Water Villas were created with couples in mind and provide luxurious accommodations. The villas have a huge living room with floor to ceiling glass windows and a glass floor, a modern bedroom with a large round bed, and a large wooden terrace with a dining area and private pool.

The Family Lagoon Pavilions:
The Family Lagoon Pavilions, which are located adjacent to the lagoon, are spacious and feature a furnished patio with stunning views as well as private beach sun loungers.

LUX* VILLA:
This villa has a butler, private buggy service, quality bicycles, and a wine and spirits selection. The villa is located at the end of the jetty, providing unobstructed views, private leisure, and a front-row seat from your own infinity pool to watch the sunsets. A stylish beach heaven is created with thatched roofs, white-washed wood, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, and see-through glass flooring. A must-try is the spherical bathtub in the huge bathroom.

Restaurants and Dinning:

Beach Rouge

Beach Rouge is an à la carte restaurant located on the hotel’s beautiful sandy beach that specialises in freshly baked pizzas cooked in a wood fire oven.

Hours of operation are 12:00–17:00 and 18:30–22:00.

Restaurant East Market

All under one roof, the East Market Restaurant delivers authentic Thai, Chinese, Taiwanese, Vietnamese, and Filipino cuisines. This Asian-inspired eatery is filled with interactive stalls.

7:00–10:30 a.m. and 19:00–22:00 p.m.

Veli Pool Bar is a pool bar in Veli

The Veli Bar is located next to the main swimming pool of the hotel. The Veli Bar stretches out to the sea as far as the waters allow. From the luxury of your sun lounger, sip a refreshing cocktail or something softer.

Restaurant Senses

The dining area is located on the beach and is protected by towering thatched roofs.
